Keating, Jr. is a partner with Freitas, McCarthy, MacMahon & Keating, LLP, where he specializes in the handling of business litigation and personal injury primarily on behalf of the plaintiff. He has tried cases in seven greater Bay Area counties and was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates in 1986. Mr. Keating has participated in the Master’s in Trial for the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has also participated as a speaker at seminars presented by the California Association of Consumer Attorneys from which he has received recognition for his extraordinary dedication, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Defense Counsel, The Rutter Group, and the National Business Institute. Mr. Keating has served as a Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore at the request of the Marin and San Francisco Superior Courts and has testified before the California State Legislature on various issues affecting the courts.
